WA Trails....we were there!! WooHoo!

Writer: Cheryl OsborneCheryl Osborne

The required ten Wheelies set off for Brigadoon on a very cold Sunday morning. Although we arrived at 8.00 we weren't required for the registration so were able to watch us some 800 runners in three groups were sent on their way. Woo Hoo!! We were involved in unclipping belts, removing numbers and storing them ready for next time, awarding badges and as you can see by the photos clapping and cheering as the runners arrived at the finish line. Then it was mixing and pouring copious amounts of fruit punch to the runners needing refreshment. Our youngest was a 5yo who had just run 5kms!! Little champ! A much more senior, grey-headed man came for juice and he had run 26kms. Woo Hoo!!!
