Something different at Darlington Chamber

We were treated to having the composer of Bell Birds Suite, Emma Jayakumar, speak to us elaborating a little on the Concert notes issued to the audience last Sunday. The Bell Birds Suite for string quartet is inspired by Henry Kendall’s poem Bell Birds, first published in 1869, in a book of collected poems entitled Leaves from Australian Forests.
