Grateful thanks to those Spokes who put a hand (and perspiration) to the wheel .

It got hotter as the day wore on, there were COVID protocols to follow, confusing for customers and volunteers alike - it was a challenge for one and all. And, yes, we added welcome $$$ to our bank balance.


Extra special thanks to Sally's daughter Hayla who wielded the tongs from 9 to 12 (we couldn't have managed without her); to Barb who came back for a second 3-hour shift in the afternoon, and to Sally who was there all day (it was 5.30 pm by the time she got back home).
