New bus

Wheels has taken delivery of a brand new 14-seat Toyota HiAce Commuter bus, complete with all the modern bells and whistles, with the assistance of grants from the Commonwealth Government Building Better Communities fund and Lotterywest (combined, almost half the cost). It will be running ‘bare’ for a while, as an application has been made to the Shire of Mundaring for a Quick Grant to help pay for the new signage. The result of that application will not be known till the beginning of June. Thanks to all who had a hand in making it happen, particularly our Chair/Treasurer, who lately has spent an inordinate amount of time on the phone and emails tie-ing it all together.
