Ten spokes booked and one by one they withdrew till there were five. Five intrepid Spokes boarded the bus and headed south to the forest near Dwellingup. There had been a fair bit of rain and nearing our destination we were met with a sign "Road Closed" - a sizeable chunk of the road had slipped into the ditch. The five set off but soon there were three, the extra 800 metres before the start of the trail a deterrent! A fairly easy 1.6k loop trail of ups and downs, rocks, steps, slippery places too; some colourful wildflowers on display, expansive forest views from the higher points, 'twas a pretty sight as water cascaded over multicoloured rocks into the pool below. Forgetful folk forgot food - but the Dwellingup Pub filled the void!
