Lunch first at our favourite Chinese at the Old Shanghai Food Court, before heading to the theatre to see An Unexpected Love starring Argentine's Ricardo Darin and Claudin Fontan -Spanish, with subtitles. When their son left for college, Ana wondered to her husband Marcos, what would they do for the next 30 years; he conceded she had a point and they set about breaking up their home and going separate ways. Ana was the first to find her feet and seemed to enjoy the freedom to experiment, Marcos took his time, and he really didn't seem to enjoy the single life. The film explores what happened during the next three years -a comedy, which packed a lot of wisdom into observing the actions and feelings of the pair -and yes, they did get together again!
